I've been looking for a cool looking laptop *backpack* but, as you can imagine, it's hard. I was wondering, if maybe I just got a laptop sleeve, could I put it in a normal backpack? Or would I just have to settle with an ugly laptop backpack? Also, my laptop is 14.1" diagonally.

A laptop sleeve protects from cuts and scratches, the actual laptop bags are made to penetrate a fall. A sleeve and back back is what I use to transport around my laptop, I am pretty sure I don't need the fall protection.

Can someone tell me of a nice backpack that can hold my 15.4" laptop and that's really cool-looking? I'm trying to find something that's $60 or less.

Crumpler makes some really awesome bags in lots of different styles. The prices are a little higher than $60 (though they have some nice deals), but their bags are great quality, good materials, sturdy and very useful designs.

I personally have ' the Moderate Embarassment" and the "Salary Sacrifice" (gotta love the names ) and they've never let me down!

I just bought the Dell XPS m1530 laptop (15.4'').

What is a good laptop backpack or brand?
I was thinking high sierra and targus but i am open to suggestions.

i would say targus is a good brand in general to buy
